I have worked in Marketing in IKEA HK for 16 years . This is my 5th iWitness trip. It's beyond words to express how thankful I am to have the chance to experience how the funds from IKEA Foundation benefits the children and families in need. The experience of every IWitness trip was unique because of the different culture and the different obstacles. I never thought of visiting the projects in Africa and suddenly it is happening. I am not familiar with Madagascar, but I have been learning from UNICEF that it is one of the poorest countries, with1/4 of the children suffering from stunted growth, 4th worst in the world for chronic malnutrition and many other serious health and hygiene issues. I am very eager to know how the projects of IKEA Foundation and UNICEF are improving the situation of the children and families in Madagascar. I am confident this will be another tremendous experience to share with our co-workers. I am on my way full of energy and passion.
