Jouel Tiu

I started my IKEA adventure in 2002 as a Graphic Designer back in Vancouver. And now, I’m working as a Creative Project Leader in Delft. When people ask me: “Where are you from?” it’s hard to give a short answer. I’m Chinese by ancestry, Filipino by birth, Canadian by citizenship, American, and now Dutch, by residency. When you call so many different places “home”, it’s easy to feel at home wherever you travel. Discovering new cultures and meeting new people has always been a great passion of mine and I’m excited to be part of the IKEA Foundation’s IWitness programme. Join us on our adventure of discovery!
