Katherine Tan

I have been working as an HR Generalist for IKEA Singapore (Tampines Store) since November 2015. I am a down-to-earth and warm-hearted girl who enjoys spending time with her loved ones and six adorable fur-kids (cats). My passion is volunteering at animal shelters and I have been doing it for seven years now. Currently, I volunteer actively at Noah’s Ark Natural Animal Shelter in Malaysia and it gives me immense pleasure to be surrounded by 700 dogs, 300 cats, nine horses and three primates in the sanctuary. It is a rewarding experience to help abandoned and abused animals overcome their barriers. I am happiest when I am with animals as they are such pure creatures with so much love to give. Being given the opportunity to embark on this IWitness journey is a blessing as I feel there is so much to gain from the experience of others. I hope not only to enrich my life but also the lives of others from this experience.
