Lotta Svedeborn

Hej! My name is Lotta and I am very honoured to have been selected as one of the IWitness ambassadors 2017 for the Good Cause Campaign. I’m from Sweden and I started my IKEA Journey in 2003 in the global IT organisation, being part of the team rolling out and developing the IKEA websites for the IKEA Group. I had various roles in the global organisations, I moved to IKEA Retail Services in 2008, and have always worked within the digital part of our business. In 2013 I got the possibility to join the UK&IE organisation and have been part of the Online Team since then. When I joined IKEA 14 years, the Soft Toys Campaign for Education was introduced. I have worked alongside the campaigns throughout the years, in the area of what we communicate on the websites. Ever since I started I have been a huge fan and very proud and amazed of what the IKEA foundation does with the global charity partners to change the world for the many people that truly needs it. One of the reasons why I joined IKEA was to be part of an organisation that makes a difference in the world, and to be part of the iWitness program will definitely take me outside of my comfort zone and be part of something bigger to inspire people to improve the world. I think this will be a huge eye-opener for me and the team going to Vietnam, which will change our lives forever and hopefully make us all contributors to a better world. I’m really looking forward to spread the word and engaging as many people as possible in the wider organisation in Let’s Play for Change UK & Ireland together with the rest of the IWitness team 2017!
