Roksana Jurczyk

My name is Roksana. I’m from Poland. I have worked for IKEA since 2018, starting as a Marketing Leader at IKEA Katowice. In December 2018, when Katowice hosted COP24, the United Nations Climate Change Conference, I had a great opportunity to take part in the event as both an organizer and as a participant. This experience has shown me how important it is for each of us to act on behalf of the planet. Just after my IWitness trip in June 2019, I transferred to IKEA Lublin, where I work as a People and Culture Manager. Nowadays, sustainability and IKEA values are a big part of my everyday job, and I’m putting them at the centre of all our activities.

Womenpower in sustainable agriculture of Rwanda

In Rwanda, about 83% of people earn their living from agriculture. This means that the rainy season and cycles of plant growth dominate local life.
