Satoko Shinjo

I joined IKEA Japan in 2017, after several experiences of volunteering to help immigrant workers in Japan and to support students from various backgrounds. I am currently working for Tachikawa store as an IKEA FOOD (Bistro & Swedish Food Market) co-worker. Communicating to co-workers and customers about initiatives related to caring for people and the planet in IKEA Group is the best part of my work, and this also motivated me to apply for IWitness. I love travelling to learn about other cultures, to taste local food, and to explore history.
