A life lesson

A blazing sun, the red earth and at the end of the track smiling, mischievous, skipping children. No desperation, no fatality. They have nothing, they have everything: hope, longing, faith. I feel a contagious joyous energy. I see a community standing upright, rallying for these children. This type of experience teaches us to put things into perspective. For us having drinkable water and separate toilets for girls and boys in our schools is something we take for granted, and yet…
