Meet the team going to Burkina Faso

Next week we are sharing blog posts from five IKEA France co-workers, who are visiting UNICEF projects in Burkina Faso funded through our Soft Toys for Education campaign. Here you can find out a little more about each of them.

Claire Mauduit

Hi everyone, I’m Claire. I’m the IKEA Foundation ambassador for the KADIOGO Group. I work at Caen in France. We’ll be leaving soon. On 20 September we spent a day hearing all about the programme. Now we can’t wait to leave. And we look forward to telling you all about our experiences. I hope to see you all soon.

Sabine Fischer-Mottin

Hi, I’m Sabine. I’m the human resources manager at the Metz store in France. I’m proud to have been chosen as ambassador for this completely new IKEA programme with the IKEA Foundation and UNICEF. I’m very lucky to be going to Burkina Faso on 16 October. I represent the MOUHOUN Group, which mainly comprises the stores in the south. I hope I can live up to your expectations. We are going to have some extraordinary experiences and I look forward to sharing them with you when we get back. I look forward to telling you about the people we meet and the things we see. I hope we live up to our ambassador role.

Vincent Locatelli

Hi, I’m Vincent. I’ve worked at the St-Priest store near Lyon in France for five years now. I am a member of my store’s sustainability group and this year IKEA is sending five people to Burkina Faso in partnership with UNICEF. I’m lucky enough to be one of them. I think it’s going to be a fantastic adventure. I’ll come back with lots of information and lots of photos to show what UNICEF is doing on the ground, thanks in part to us.

Xavier Bahic

Hi. I’m Xavier. I work at the Rennes store in France. I’m heading for Burkina Faso as an IKEA Foundation ambassador. I look forward to sharing my experiences on this adventure with all the SOUROU Group stores when we get back.

Zinta Kakou

Hi, I’m Zinta. I’m from the Villiers-sur-Marne store in France. We’ll soon be leaving for Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso to visit the programmes initiated by the IKEA Foundation and UNICEF. When we get back we’ll show you what kind of time we have had down there, with photos and videos. We look forward to sharing this whole great adventure with you and to continue it with you all. Thank you.
