Climate Action

Instituto Clima e Sociedade (iCS) is Brazil’s leading climate action platform that works to reduce CO2 emissions and move the country towards a low-carbon economy. The IKEA Foundation is funding iCS because we’re committed to taking bold climate action and protecting vital natural resources, such as the Amazon rainforest, for the many people.

Refugee Livelihoods

Enviu and the IKEA Foundation support social enterprises that create jobs, reduce waste and build thriving local economies. In India, Enviu contributes to a circular textile sector by building social enterprises that turn textile waste into high value products, while in Kenya it helps build a zero food-loss value chain for fruit and vegetables.
